Traditional Ecological Knowledge

Our mission is to work through science and traditional ecological knowledge to conserve the full diversity of habitats and their species, within the Musqueam Creek ecosystem, now and for future generations.

Through these video interviews Musqueam Elders share their knowledge and wisdom of the ecological and cultural history of Musqueam and the Musqueam Creek ecosystem.

This shared knowledge, along with the best available science is incorpoorated into our workplans and guides our actions.

Please take a moment to view these interviews and get and find out more about the importance of traditional ecological knowledge.
